Your Impact as a Facilitator

Applying to become a facilitator at Joel’s Place for Children offers a unique opportunity to support grieving children in a safe, nurturing environment. Facilitators help lead twice-monthly sessions during the school year, guiding emotional awareness activities and peer-based discussions that allow participants to express their feelings and connect with others who understand their experience.

Ideal facilitators are empathetic, dependable, and comfortable working with children in emotional situations. This is a way to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people coping with loss.
